HOLY COMMUNION:The Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements --bread and the fruit of the vine-- is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4 ), a memorial of his suffering and death (1 Corinthians 11:26 ), and a prophecy of His second coming (1 Corinthians 11:26 ), and is enjoined on all believers "till He come!"Transubstantiation is a false doctrine.Mt 26:28 proves transubstantiation wrong because Jesus calls the cup "fruit of the vine" after both Roman Catholics and Orthodox say the "change" was supposed to take place. Catholics make Jesus a liar by calling the cup "fruit of the vine" rather than what Catholic false doctrine claims it was: Literal Blood.1 Cor 11:26-27 proves transubstantiation wrong because Paul calls the loaf, "bread" after both Roman Catholics and Orthodox say the "change" was supposed to take place. Catholics make Paul a liar by calling the loaf "bread" rather than what Catholic false doctrine claims it was: Literal Flesh.Tertullian clearly rejects the idea of "real presence" and had never heard of transubstantiation since he taught the true symbolic view of the bread and juice, just as Jesus and Paul taught.

CALVINISM OR ARMINIANISM:It is my view that both systems fail in that they attempt to explain the unexplainable. Human beings are incapable of fully grasping a concept such as this. Yes, God is absolutely sovereign and knows all. Yes, human beings are called to make a genuine decision to place faith in Christ unto salvation.Romans 3:4 declares, “let God be true, but every man a liar...” It is woefully tragic that so many professed believers are making the same mistake which the Apostle Paul rebuked the believers at Corinth of making, “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name”= (1st Corinthians 1:10-15). I am NOT an Arminian or a Calvinist, but I am a born-again Christian. I have a different view than what Calvinist or Arminian believes after studying scripture.

ANGELS AND DEMONS:I believe in the reality and personality of angels. I believe that God created the angels to be His servants and messengers (Nehemiah 9:6;Psalm 148:2;Hebrews 1:14).I believe in the existence and personality of Satan and demons. Satan is a fallen angel who led a group of angels in rebellion against God (Isaiah 14:12-17;Ezekiel 28:12-15). He is the great enemy of God and man, and the demons are his servants in evil. He and his demons will be eternally punished in the lake of fire (Matthew 25:41;Revelation 20:10).

MYSTICISM:Involvement in the many forms of mysticism grows out of a single motivation—a desire to move beyond the revelation of God's Word to sources of "enlightenment" that are contrary to the Bible's revealed truth. Inordinate curiosity begins the downward path. However, God's Word is totally adequate to provide both direction and inspiration for life. What supernatural guidance we cannot derive from the Bible and its Spirit-initiated revelation is out of bounds. It is blasphemy against God to turn away from His Word to seek forbidden knowledge and understanding through divination, magic, palm reading, astrology, tarot cards, crystal balls, Ouija boards, psychic knowledge, or any other practice that seeks to unravel divinely hidden mysteries.Sadly, the quest for meaning and purpose has drawn many people, including some professing Christians, into these human-centered philosophies and religions. I sometimes say too glibly that the Bible provides the answer to all of our problems. Yet the God of the Bible tells us in His Word that He is there to meet our every need. We can still claim the biblical promise, "My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus" (Phil. 4:19). That promise can be trusted with far greater certainty than the best that man or demon power can offer.

END-TIME EVENTS:I understands the biblical description of end-time events to be literal, not symbolic (as do some peoples). The Rapture:Jesus Christ is the central figure of prophecy, just as He is the central figure of the entire Bible. The Rapture of the living saints is the first phase of what is commonly called the Second Coming. To the Christian who truly loves Jesus, the sudden appearance of Christ in the air will hold no fear, dread, or disappointment. This event is the blessed hope Paul mentions in Titus 2:13. At this time, Christ comes and snatches away His church without actually setting foot on the earth. The rapture of the saints is best described in 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17, and 1 Corinthians 15:51,52.The end times will be full of frightening events. Christians will be spared from suffering some of them by being snatched away in the Rapture. But we will not escape them all, and Christ gave warning and instruction on how to live in the last days (Matthew 24:4-46).Believers who have died before the Rapture will be resurrected with incorruptible bodies at the Rapture. According to 1 Corinthians 15:52, the bodies of the living saints will be changed too as they are snatched away. The Bible does not give a complete description of the new bodies. The full revelation will be a glorious surprise. We are given a peek at what they will be like in the Gospel accounts of Jesus after His resurrection and in 1 Corinthians 15:52.The Tribulation: With the saints removed from the earth, a time of suffering will come upon the whole world. The Tribulation is a period of 7 years, the "70th week" of Daniel (Daniel 9:27). The last half of the Tribulation period is called the Great Tribulation. Pre-

Tribulation scholars hold that the Rapture will occur before the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week. Mid-Tribulation scholars believe the Rapture will occur in the middle of the 70th week, or before the Great Tribulation. Post-Tribulationscholars teach that the Rapture will occur at the end of the 70th week, or when Christ comes to set up His eternal kingdom. My belief is that pre-tribulation is more accurate. This view best satisfies the biblical teaching that the Rapture is always imminent–it could happen at any time and will have no immediate warning or announcement (Matthew 24:42-44; Mark 13:33-37). One must always be prepared. The post-tribulation position does not retain the essential scriptural aspect of an imminent unannounced Rapture. The Tribulation directly concerns Israel and is God’s judgment for long apostasy (abandonment of religious faith) and neglect of the Messiah – Jesus Christ. The Tribulation also affects the whole world because of its ungodliness and ill treatment of the Jews. The first half of these 7 years will probably be a time of prosperity and acceptance of the Antichrist as the great deliverer from economic chaos. But the last half of the period will witness the plagues described in Revelation 15:1-16:21. There has been much speculation on the identity of the Antichrist, with many world leaders being named for the questionable "honor." The church has experienced embarrassment when predicted antichrists have died or otherwise passed from the world scene. I generally choose not to participate in speculating who the Antichrist might be, as well as forecasting the possibility that he is already alive. The Second Coming: This event is different from the Rapture. The second coming of Christ is the visible, bodily appearance of Christ as He returns to the Mount of Olives from which He ascended back to heaven after His resurrection. After the marriage between the raptured saints and the Lamb in heaven (during the Tribulation), Christ, the Groom, goes forth to claim all of His kingdom. He rides on a white horse, followed by the saints, also on white horses (Revelation 19:11,14). It will be a sight of great wonder and majesty as Christ descends with His followers to reclaim that which Satan has temporarily wrested from His hand. The ensuing conflict between the world of righteousness and the world of darkness is called the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 16). At the conclusion of the battle, defeated Satan is bound and cast into the bottomless pit for 1,000 years (Revelation 20).
